Wireless Technology in High Schools: University High School

On March 7, 2025, N6IVC Advisor KO6CFZ, N6IVC President N6IRN, and Vice President KO6CFK gave a presentation at University High School on exploring wireless technology through Amateur Radio. Our club has long aimed to promote Amateur Radio in local high schools, and today’s presentation marks the beginning of a series of off-campus outreach efforts beyond our regular on-campus events.
We would like to thank instructor Tinh Tran for welcoming us into his ninth-grade biology classroom and allowing us to introduce his students to the world of wireless technology and the great Amateur Radio community. Our club will continue working with interested students to guide them in the right direction and help them become licensed Amateur Radio operators.
If you are a high school teacher or know one who would like to bring Amateur Radio into the classroom, please reach out to us at [email protected]. As part of our mission at the IVC Wireless Technology Club, we are committed to strengthening the future of Amateur Radio by connecting with young radio enthusiasts and helping them become part of this thriving community.
